About the team

The EMEA Marketing team is pretty special—a small group of scrappy, creative strategists who aim to create exceptional marketing activities but never take ourselves too seriously. We all work together to help businesses of all sizes build deeper customer relationships, acquire bigger audiences, and use data to fuel amazing experiences.

We're looking for an EMEA Marketing Content Strategist to join our current content team of one in the region. Right now, the content team leads integrated marketing campaigns and is responsible for content across all channels: email, web, blog—you name it! Once you join, we’ll be able to do more of what’s already working, plus test creative concepts that shape how Klaviyo’s content will look in the next year.

About the role

As our EMEA Marketing Content Strategist, you’ll work with the Content Manager to own our regional brand voice, integrated campaigns, and content across key channels like web, email, blog, and social. The Klaviyo brand centres our community, and our content is no different: We always seek to create delightful, educational content that serves prospects and customers alike. You’ll be able to create content you genuinely like and can be proud of - no stuffy white papers here. Of course, perfect grammar is a must, but having an eye for making copy fun and engaging is just as important.

Your Impact

Content Strategist can mean different things to different people. At Klaviyo it means you’ll: 

  • Content ideation and execution:  Plan, create, and repurpose content across key channels: web, email, blog, social
  • Campaign support: Support key EMEA integrated marketing campaigns with content creation and GTM plans that implement creative promotion strategies and SEO best practices
  • Content editing: Work with stakeholders across the entire EMEA team to create a consistent brand voice in every communication we send
  • Content collaborations: Work with key marketing team members like partner marketing and SEO to create content that widens the Klaviyo audience
  • Evaluate content performance: Work with Content Manager to set objectives for every content effort and methodically analyse performance to make data-driven decisions about what to do (and not do) in the future

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience (essential), ideally with 2+ years in content, communications, and/or social media
  • A hard-working and detail-oriented content marketer who loves copywriting, grammar, and the occasional pun to help us create delightful content that helps get the Klaviyo brand in front of the right people.
  • You’re a part-time strategist. All your content connects back to strategy, and if a project’s strategy is unclear, you’re quick to bring the right people into the conversation.
  • You want to grow in your content career—to eventually own one or more key channels and be able to manage content campaigns from start to finish.
  • You evaluate content not just with gut feel but with tangible, trackable metrics that help you inform what’s working and what can be improved.
  • Intermediate knowledge of web and email best practices, including A/B testing and SEO
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
  • Full authorisation to work in the UK without any restrictions

Nice to have              

  • Experience in the eCommerce SaaS industry
  • Social media ownership and management
  • Familiar with Wordpress and Salesforce CRM
  • Additional business-fluent French or German a bonus+
