The Klaviyo Go-to-Market (GTM) organization is responsible for revenue delivery and customer satisfaction across our fast-growing global customer base. To help fuel our growth and find new ways to continuously improve, we are looking for a Senior Director to ensure our organization has the information, tools and processes to run effectively and scale. This position will be based in the US and report to the VP of GTM Strategy & Programs. 

The Senior Director of Business Processes & Systems Automation is a senior leadership role responsible for driving efficiencies and supporting the evolution of GTM processes and systems at Klaviyo that are scalable and automated. Collaborating effectively with the GTM functions and other internal stakeholders across geographies will be critical for success in this role. This role has the potential for tremendous impact on the GTM organization by transforming how we conduct our operations.

How you’ll make a difference:

  • Support the evolution of processes and systems: Create an inventory of core GTM business processes, systems and tools currently in use and define a set of prioritized initiatives to streamline, scale and automate. Ensure initiatives meet explicit business metrics that enable gains in team productivity and/or customer acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborate with GTM teams and other cross functional stakeholders to prioritize projects, scope requirements and develop, design and implement solutions across functions.
  • Identify necessary solution requirements and capacity needed to deliver solutions. Partner closely with the Global Technology Solutions team to ensure adequate capacity to support business processes & systems automation initiatives. 
  • Oversee overall program execution, including coordination with multiple functions to drive change management and the successful adoption of improved processes and tools across the entire GTM organization. Ensure systems governance, compliance and risk requirements are successfully met for all processes.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of process and systems automation and implement continuous improvement practices.
  • Both give and receive meaningful feedback focusing on empathy, curiosity and investment in growth.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering or similar degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Senior leadership experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations or IT.
  • Deep understanding of GTM business processes and supporting technologies with a customer-centric approach 
  • Interpersonal and project management skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships, influence others and drive programs and processes to completion. Able to navigate productively through conflict.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities. Demonstrates high EQ, tact, diplomacy and self awareness with the capacity to lead teams and influence stakeholders across functions.
  • Comfortable working with limited information, asking questions, seeking new answers to existing solutions. Continuously seeks to improve and standardize processes, systems with a propensity to build systems, processes, and tools that scale.
  • Self-starter, solution seeker, seeks new opportunities, acts without being told, requires minimal supervision. 
  • Prioritizing accuracy and delivering high-quality work on time. Looks for lasting results and long term solutions.
  • Ability to effectively work and lead a cross-functional team through a high degree of movement and change. Demonstrates consistent ability to set a vision, prioritize, pay attention to what matters and execute through ambiguity.
