Getting started

We know finding your footing in a new job can be intimidating, so we support all new Klaviyos with orientation resources that start on day one. You'll start off in Base Camp, our robust, week-long onboarding program, where you'll learn about our history, story, culture, and product. For new people leaders and incoming members of our product or sales teams, you’ll receive additional, specialized training tailored to your role. And since you'll do it all alongside a cohort of fellow new Klaviyos, you'll be able to start building connections across the company right away. We even pair you with a buddy to provide 1:1 support in navigating your first few months!

Whether you’re relaxing with a novel, reading about technology, or learning more about the Black Lives Matter movement, you can submit your book purchases for reimbursement. If you’re better off for having read it (or listened to it—audiobooks are covered too!) we’ll pay for it.

Klaviyos are always learning and always trying to become better teammates, people leaders, subject matter experts, and all-around humans. That’s why we reimburse up to $3,000 USD, £2,500, or $4,250 AUD in eligible learning expenses annually.

Self-empowered learning

It's important to us that Klaviyos feel empowered to continue to expand and grow throughout their journey here. That's why we provide resources for self-empowered learning to Klaviyos at every level to own their career destinies. We take a holistic view of learning, so our offerings span everything from free career coaching with Bravely, to monthly Munch n’ Learns on topics like Building Your Career at Klaviyo, and Equity 101. Klaviyos also get access to whole libraries of specialized courses through our partnerships with LinkedIn Learning and Jhana. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for there, we give you an annual learning stipend to get the training you need.

We believe every Klaviyo is a leader, so we’ve designed programs to support us in building and nurturing a leadership pipeline from within. Based on the "multiplier" framework, our Aspiring Leaders and First Level Leaders programs equip Klaviyos with practical, actionable skills in coaching, empowerment, and opportunity.
